3-D Visualisation Studies

Key GeoSolutions specialises in the use of 3D terrain modelling Software (LSS) to produce real-time fly-through visualisations employed in planning applications, environmental impact assessments (EIS) and quarry open days. These methods allow both the client members of the public to visualise how a new quarry or an extension to an existing quarry will fit into the local landscape.

The use of digital terrain models combined with draped aerial photography allows the analysis of critical visual impact, influence and intrusion of the proposed quarry design, associated screening features and progressive restoration schemes.
